CEO Update – Earthquake

Our Chief Executive Russell Harrison has released an update today in follow up to this morning’s earthquake which can be viewed here.

 

Recent and Upcoming Changes to SHED Patient Streaming

As part of Sunshine Hospital adapting to be a COVID streaming hospital, the Sunshine ED is undergoing changes to the zones it has allocated for managing COVID infection risk.

The SHED Leadership Team is committed to keeping you informed and safe in the workplace in responding to these changes.

SHED Expansion – Move Day

New Resuscitation Area opens next Wednesday, 29th September.

After some minor delays related to the re-installation of pendants, the Expansion Team are excited to be opening this  new space.

In preparation for the New Resuscitation Area clinical commencement, a webinar was held last Monday to present information pertinent to the success of the move.

If you are working on the day, either in the resuscitation area or as a clinical lead, you can contact united@wh.org.au to receive a copy of the webinar and ensure you are up-to-date and ready to play your part with the move!

 

SHED Expansion – Guided Tours

A reminder that Guided Tours are running for staff orientation at 1000 and 1400, Monday – Friday. All staff are invited.

For those that may struggle to make these times, we encourage you to attend with a buddy who has taken the tour already.

We endeavor to make training and orientation as flexible as possible for you.

If you need assistance in attending these tours, please speak with your line manager or contact united@wh.org.au

Please remember to sign the sign-in sheet during your tour.

 

Mad Sock Monday!

Mad Sock Mondays at SHED has really taken off, with some great pictures flooding in!

You can get involved and pick up a pair of crazy socks from Nurse Unit Manager Julie Spencer today – thanks Julie!
