Continuing Week 3 on the topic of Best Practice Mental Health Care in ED, we have today a short video presentation for you from Louise Cooke, Nurse Unit Manager at Sunshine ED.
Louise discusses safe and effective bedside care for patients with mental health care needs, with reference to new Guidelines for enhanced clinical practice.
These Western Health Guidelines apply to Footscray and Sunshine Emergency Departments, and expand upon our existing best practice ED care principles. Supporting Quick Reference Guides are available on unitED.
