To all Sunshine Hospital Emergency Department Staff,
Next Monday, May 30th, marks the next stage of Training and Orientation to the new Behavioural Assessment Unit (BAU) and The Hub (MHAOD Hub- Level 1 – SHED) for all staff and volunteers who work in the SHED.

For this next period (30/5/22 to 18/6/22 excluding Sundays), your Training and Orientation will include:
These activities have been designed to support and prepare you for working in and around our new MHAOD Accommodations in SHED.
Scheduling and rostering has already commenced for our first training groups. Your leads will continue to provide you with more information over this three week training period, with the support of our Senior Management.
With your support, we are on track for commencement of clinical operations in the BAU in late June (estimated 20/6/22). Operational readiness of The Hub is expected to follow in August.
