The Advanced Practice Physio Service has commenced a 7 day, extended hours service in SHED as of this week. Usual hours of Advanced Physio service will be 08:30-19:00, including weekends and public holidays, with Advanced Physios working across Fast Track, Adults and Paediatrics.
Advanced Practice Physios complete robust training and credentialing to work in these specialist roles, and most of our team also work in other advanced practice clinics (such as Virtual Fracture Clinic), and bring with them a wealth of knowledge and skills.
How do Advanced Practice Physios fit within the SHED team?
APPs will pick up their own patients, and led management of care just as ED medical staff do.
