Today we officially launch the Recognition and Management of the Deteriorating Patient in the Emergency Department (inclusive of Adult and Paediatric) PPG in the Emergency Departments! You will begin to see the updated ED Adult Flow Charts in the department this week.

This week our topic is the The Deteriorating Maternity Patient.
The Maternity Observation and Response Chart should be used for all pregnant women and up to six weeks postpartum in conjunction with the ED Adult Flow Chart. We will take a closer look at the MORC and how it is used to assist with the identification and response to deterioration in the pregnant patient.
This week’s webinar on the The Deteriorating Maternity Patient is open to all ED staff and volunteers. As before, a Q&A segment will follow the presentation. This webinar will be recorded.
